WEDNESDAY, JUNE 18:  The US Department of Interior gives Hawaiians 5 days notice that they are considering creating a Rule to reestablish a government to government relationship with the “Native Hawaiian” community and will hold public hearings throughout Hawaiʻi beginning June 23.  Hundreds of Hawaiians attended and said a resounding “NO” to any Rule.

FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 23:  The Department of Interior Releases the Final Rule that would facilitate a pathway to creating a government to government relationship with the Native Hawaiian Community.  Protest Na’i Aupuni calls a press conference in rejecting this Rule.
